How to use analysis types to gain in-depth data in your Sage Accounting reports.

Description

Analysis types allow you to group and categorise your transactions. Once set up, you can get in-depth report data on multiple reports.

Resolution

Once you create analysis types, you can run the following reports to see them:

Transaction Analysis

Filter each report to show analysis type activity

  1. Go to Reporting, then More and select the relevant report.
  2. Select More, then choose the relevant Analysis Type from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Calculate to see the filtered results.

 NOTE: You need to create analysis types for the filter to appear.
