Description
If you use Microsoft Excel, when you try to export data from Sage 50 Accounts the following message may appear.
'Your export to Excel did not succeed. Only Microsoft Excel 2013, 2016, 2019 or 2021 are supported'
This can be due to an issue with the installation of Microsoft Office or your Sage software. Let's take a look at how to resolve it.
Resolution
Check your software compatibility with Microsoft Outlook
- In your Sage program, click Help then click About and note the version number.
- Check our System Requirements to confirm the version of Microsoft Office and Sage Account you are using are compatible.
NOTE: For more information on which versions of Sage software and Microsoft Office are compatible, use our compatibility checker guide.Reinstall Microsoft Office
To reinstall Microsoft Office, please refer to your IT support.
Complete a repair install of Sage Accounts
- Hold the Windows Key on your keyboard and then press R.
- In the Run box, type appwiz.cpl then click OK.
- In the list of available programs, right-click Sage Accounts and click Change.
- Click Repair and complete the installation wizard.
Check the registry for older version of Office
