If you use Microsoft Excel, when you try to export data from Sage 50 Accounts the following message may appear.
'Your export to Excel did not succeed. Only Microsoft Excel 2013, 2016, 2019 or 2021 are supported'
This can be due to an issue with the installation of Microsoft Office or your Sage software. Let's take a look at how to resolve it.
NOTE: For more information on which versions of Sage software and Microsoft Office are compatible, use our compatibility checker guide.To reinstall Microsoft Office, please refer to your IT support.
If reinstalling both Office and Sage don't fix the issue, please refer to your IT support to check the Windows registry for older entries of Microsoft Office and remove them.
