How to create a new product record

If you sell products or services, it's easy to create product records to help track these sales. Let's do this now.

1. Open Products and services then on the menu bar up on the top, click New.

   TIP: If you are creating a service record in Sage 50 Accounts Professional, make sure to select Service Item on the Item Type dropdown.

3. If required, to enter a product opening balance, in the Details tab, for In Stock click . If prompted to save the record click Yes, enter the opening balance details then click Save.
4. Click Save then click Close.
