Description

This message appears when you try to access an exclusive zone in Sage 50 Accounts and other users are, or appear to be, logged in.  

NOTE: An exclusive zone is an area in Sage 50 Accounts that require all other users to log out of the company, for example backing up or running Check Data. Screenshot of Access Denied message

You cannot access <> because <> is logged in on machine <>.

Resolution

Confirm if other users are logged in.


If other users are logged in

Log all users out of Sage Accounts on all computers including all Remote Data Access or Sage Drive remote users, then try and access the required option again.

TIP: If you have purchased a network version of Sage 50 Accounts but get this message when more than one user tries to log in at the same time, you must check you have entered the latest serial number and activation key on each computer - Read more >


If no other users appear to be logged in

You need to try and log in as the MANAGER user:

If you can log on as MANAGER - 

If you can't log on as MANAGER -
