Report Designer - Text appears on preview but doesn't print

How to resolve the issue if you have text appear on a preview, but not show on your print.

When adding a text box in Report Designer, the text appears correctly on the Preview window but doesn't print.

This occurs when using Arial with font size 22 or 65 or above, and Times New Roman with font sizes 20, 22 and 28.

To resolve this, try the following:

Different font

Try an alternative font. There's an issue with Arial and Times New Roman, but some fonts such as Tahoma work correctly.

Font size

If possible, reduce the font size of your text.

Create text in other software

Use other software, for example Word, to create the text in the required font size.

You can then save the text as an image file, then add the image to the Sage document.

Retype text

If you have pasted text into your document, this can have hidden attributes, which can cause the issue.

Instead, clear the pasted text and retype it manually.
