| Add an image or logo to a document using Report Designer |
Description | Using Report Designer you can add an image or logo to your reports and layouts. For example, this is how to add you company logo to your customer invoice in Sage 50 Accounts. Resolution | - Select the report or layout you want to amend, then click Edit.
For example, to edit an Invoice or Credit layout, go to Invoices and Credits, select an invoice or credit note, click Print. Then select the layout you want to edit, and click Edit. - On the menu bar across the top, click Toolbox, then click Add Image / Logo.
- Click where you want the image to appear.
- Click Browse my PC or network for an image, click OK.
- Browse to and click your image file, then click Open.
TIP: The supported image file types show in the Files of type drop-down: bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, ico, emf, wmf. - If required, click and drag to resize or move the image.
- On the menu bar, click Report then click Report Properties.
- Enter a new name and click OK.
- On the menu bar click File, click Save As.
- Enter a new file name then click Save.
- On the menu bar click File, then click Exit.
NOTE: To view your changes, ensure you run the document with the new file name you create. For more information, see our running customised reports and layouts article. Change an existing image - Select the document you want to amend, then click Edit.
- Double-click the relevant image.
- Browse to and double-click the new image.
- On the menu bar click File, then click Save.
- On the menu bar click File, then click Exit.
