Description
2-factor authentication (2FA) adds extra security to your Sage account. Every time you log in, you need to verify it's you.
Once you set up 2FA, you can have your Sage product remember you the next time you log in. This means you need only enter a second form of verification via passcode after 30 days.
Resolution
Set up 2-factor authentication
- Log in to the Account management area at account.sso.sage.com.
- Click 2-factor authentication and click Send email.
- You'll receive an email to enrol in 2FA. Use the link in the email to set up 2FA on your account.
- Choose from the following authentication options:
- Sage Verify app (recommended)
- Authenticator app
- SMS text
- Phone call

Can multiple people use the same login
Sharing account details with others creates a significant security risk. This is because it can lead to unauthorised access and difficulty in tracking changes made to your data.
