Back up while others are working

Just back up your data as you normally would.

When you start the backup, Sage 50 Accounts briefly pauses other users while taking a quick data snapshot, then uses this to check and backup your data.

Turn this feature off, if required

  1. Click Settings, then click Company Preferences.
  2. Click Parameters and clear the Enable check data and backup with users logged in check-box.

Exceptions

When backing up reports, if you don't have the Use data path for reports option selected, you must get all users to log out before you can back up.

The Use data path for reports option defines whether your reports are stored alongside the data, or locally on your computer. Read more >
