Remote Data Access - Computers with the same Dataset ID aren't syncing

Cause
Resolution

If both computers have the same Dataset ID, they're sharing the same company data using Remote Data Access. Follow the steps below to resolve the problem. 

Refresh the module

On all computers with the issue:

  1. Back up your data.
  2. Open the module with the different data and click Refresh at the top of the window.
  3. Go to Help, then About and check the records or transactions are now the same.

Disconnect and reconnect 

To resolve the problem, disconnect and reconnect to Remote Data Access on the computer that has the incorrect information.
