| Description | Whether you're installing Sage 50 Accounts for the first time, or you're installing on a new computer, there are a few things you need to do to get prepared. |
| Resolution | Check your serial and account numbersYou need your serial and account number to activate your software. You can find these on your email or the invoice you received with the software.  TIP: If you don't have the email, or your invoice to hand don't worry as you can retrieve these details from your My Sage Account, which is covered in the steps below.
Create a My Sage login Before you download your software, you need to create a My Sage login > If you already have a login, please continue to the next section, Check your activation key.
Check your activation key - Go to https://my.sage.co.uk, then enter your details and click Sign In.
- Click Software, then click Active products.
- Click your serial number, then make a note of your activation key.
