What happens when I save my quote or estimate?
Save a quote or estimate as a draftIf you're not quite ready to send your quote or estimate to your customer, you can save it as a draft. This saves what you've entered so far and allows you to come back later when you're ready to finalise the details. To save a quote or estimate as a draft, enter the details as normal. When you're ready to save, select the Save as draft check box at the bottom left of the screen:
Now select Save. The quote or estimate shows in your Quotes and Estimates list with a number. They appear SQ-DRAFT (for a quote), or SE-DRAFT (for an estimate). It also shows Draft in the Status column. You can toggle the period to find your quote or estimate. When you're ready to finalise the details and send the quote estimate to your customer, select the SQ-DRAFT or SE-DRAFT from the list. Check or edit the details, then remove the tick from the Save as draft box before choosing Save.
