| Known Issue: 'Processing - Please Wait' or software hangs when exporting |
Description | This issue occurs when Sage 50 Accounts runs in compatibility mode for Windows 8. NOTE: This can also cause an issue when running your bank reconciliation.

Resolution | Stop Sage 50 Accounts running in compatibility mode- Close Sage 50 Accounts.
- Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Desktop Icon, then click Properties.
- Click the Compatibility tab, then clear the Run this program in compatibility mode for: check box.
TIP: If the check box is already clear, select the check box, and then clear the check box again. - Re-open Sage 50 Accounts.
If the issue persists, we recommend you uninstall and reinstall Sage 50 Accounts. You can use our How do I do a standard uninstall of Sage 50 Accounts? guide to do this.
NOTE: This issue has also been resolved by stopping and restarting the Sage data services.
