Known Issue: 'Processing - Please Wait' or software hangs when exporting
Description

This issue occurs when Sage 50 Accounts runs in compatibility mode for Windows 8. 

NOTE: This can also cause an issue when running your bank reconciliation.

Resolution

Stop Sage 50 Accounts running in compatibility mode

  1. Close Sage 50 Accounts.
  2. Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Desktop Icon, then click Properties.
  3. Click the Compatibility tab, then clear the Run this program in compatibility mode for: check box.
    TIP: If the check box is already clear, select the check box, and then clear the check box again. 
  4. Re-open Sage 50 Accounts.

 NOTE: This issue has also been resolved by stopping and restarting the Sage data services
