Using Online Timesheets - Sage Employee Online Services
Description

After your employer sets you up for Online Timesheets, log into Sage Employee Online Services at any time to view, record and submit the hours you've worked. Your employer can then approve or decline these submitted timesheets.


 NOTE: This guide is for Online Timesheets. For help with accessing payslips and P60s, visit the Online Payslips/P60s support hub.

Resolution
  1. Log in as an employee at www.sagepayrollservices.co.uk.
  2. After you log in, you can either:
    • Click the My timesheets tab that takes you to your list of timesheets
    • Click View more timesheets on the Timesheets tile on your Dashboard that takes you to your list of timesheets
    • Click Enter your current week on the Timesheets tile on your Dashboard that opens up the current week's Timesheet



       
       NOTE: On a mobile browser, to get to the My timesheets tab, tap on the three lines first. 




View your timesheets

When you first log in a summary of timesheets appears. You can change the date range to view timesheets for a different period, using the calendar.

 NOTE: A maximum of 6 weeks displays at any one time. 


Your list of timesheets shows you the following details:

  • The week 
  • Status of the Timesheet
  • The total hours of the Timesheet for that week

     TIP: If you hover over the ? you can see a brief summary of those hours.


Enter your timesheets

  1. Click on a Timesheet to open it.
  2. Check the week commencing date is correct. If you're on the wrong Timesheet, click My timesheets to return back to your list of timesheets.



  3. For each pay type, select the hours and minutes you've worked.

    If you've worked any overtime, enter those hours in Overtime x1.5 or Overtime x2.

  4. Check the totals are correct.
  5. Enter any relevant notes.

    Any notes entered send to your employer with the Timesheet when you save or submit. There is a maximum limit of 500 characters. 

  6. To save the Timesheet, click Save.

    Or, if you're ready to send it for approval, click Submit, then confirm you want to submit it.

 NOTE: When you save a Timesheet, you can still make amendments. However, once you submit a Timesheet it can't be changed. If you need to amend a submitted Timesheet, contact your employer.
