Employment Verification enables your employees to access and share their payroll data.
How does this help?Employees can require proof of employment when making certain applications, such as mortgage loans or rental agreements. Using Employment Verification helps to speed up this process. With this new service, employees can instruct our third party to access their employment information digitally direct from Sage. This saves you time and effort, while making the process simpler for your employees.
How does it work?Every time you make a full payment submission (FPS), new employee data uploads to Sage. The data uploads from Sage 50 Payroll and Sage retain it for this purpose, in line with your instructions. View Sage Terms and Conditions and Sage Data Protection Addendum. The security of our systems and networks is of paramount importance to us. NOTE: You can disable this feature within your settings at any time.
When is the data shared?None of your employees’ data is shared with a third party unless the individual, asks to share it. This means that your employees can control, use and verify employment and payroll data, at their own discretion. We take our data protection obligations seriously, and always process personal data fairly, lawfully and transparently. NOTE: This is only possible if you enable the feature.
