You've got your serial number, activation key and account number to hand. You can find these on your order confirmation email.
2 - Download and install

On the server or computer that holds your data
Install the data service
Watch the video or follow the steps below.
On the server or computer that's to holds your data, close all software, then click the link below: [BCB:30:Accounts - latest data service:ECB]
This will download automatically to your downloads folder, or click Save.
To begin the installation, locate and double-click [BCB:263:UKI - Sage 50 Accounts data service version number:ECB] To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
Select theI accept the terms of the Licence Agreementcheck box and clickNext.
Click the Data service only installation type.
Once complete, clickClose.
Create and share a folder
On your server or computer that's to holds your data, create a folder to store your data and share the folder, giving other network users full control.
For example, create the following folders and share theSageDatafolder in the path below:
C:\SageData\Company.000
On client computers
Install the full software on each client computer, you can watch the video or follow the steps below.
Close all software, then click the link below: [BCB:29:Accounts - latest full download direct:ECB]
This will download automatically to your downloads folder, or click Save.
To begin the installation, locate and double-click[BCB:262:UKI - Sage 50 Accounts full download version number:ECB] To view your Downloads folder, pressCtrl + J on your keyboard.
If prompted, click Yes to allow this app to make changes to your device.
Select the I accept the terms of the Licence Agreement check box and click Next.
Click the Standard (recommended) installation type and click Yes, begin installation.
Once complete, the software checks for any updates, if prompted click Install then click Yes, begin installation.
If prompted to restart your computer, make sure you have any work saved, then click Restart now.
If not prompted to restart, to complete the install, click Close, then click Close.
3 - Create and connect to your company data
Create your company data
Now you've installed the software on your client computers, you need to create your company data.
On one of the client computers, open Sage 50 Accounts.
In the Add a Company window click Restore.
ClickBrowse, then browse to the path of your backup, then click Open.
ClickChange, then browse to, or type, the network path to the folder you created earlier. For example:\\server\sagedata\company.000
ClickContinuethen enter your software Serial number, Activation key and Account number. You can find these on your order confirmation email.
Click Next, then to confirm your licence, click OK and click OK.
Click Restore and enter you Logon name and Password then click OK.
Connect client computers to your data
On the client computer, open Sage 50 Accounts.
In the Add a Company window select Connect, then click Browse.
Browse to, or type, the network path of the folder you created earlier, then click Continue. For example:\\server\sagedata\company.000
Click Next and click OK and if a confirmation message appears click OK.
Click Connect and enter your Logon name and Password then click OK.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 for each client computer.
4 - Final checks
