If you've a multi-company licence on Sage 50 Accounts, you can create more than one company. This means you can add a company locally by restoring a backup of an existing company.

1. If you don't already have a recent one, take a backup of the data and save locally, or to a USB stick, external hard drive etc.
2. Open Sage 50 Accounts, then click Add Company in the Company Selection window.
3. Click Restore - Restore a company from a backup then click Browse.
4. Locate the backup taken in Step 1 then click Open and Next then Restore.

 NOTE: When you restore a backup to a different location or computer and use connected services, you'll see a Manage Cloud Connection window in v30.1 and above.
