Blank MTD screen when you submit VAT Return
Description

Either the HMRC online service screen is blank, or the window shows as loading for a prolonged period of time. To resolve this, refresh the Launchpad Settings.

Refresh the Launchpad Settings

  1. Close Sage Accounts and browse to C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts.
     NOTE: If you can't see ProgramData, follow our guide to show hidden folders. 
  2. Locate and right-click the Launchpadsettings.xml file.
  3. Click Rename and type LaunchpadSettings.old
  4. Restart Sage Accounts, then re-open the reconciled VAT Return.
  5. Submit the VAT Return again.

Issue persists

If the issue still occurs, repair your current installation of Sage 50 Accounts.
