If you're having issues with your program, you can repair your Sage 50 Accounts installation.  

Before you start

If you currently have access to your program, we recommend you back up your data before you begin. If you can't currently open your Sage 50 Accounts program, proceed to the next section.

Repair your installation

 NOTE: These instructions are for the Windows 11 operating system. 

1. Close your Sage 50 Accounts program if you have it open.
2. Click the Windows Start button, then click Settings.
3. Click Apps, and then Installed apps.
4. Use the Search apps function at the top of the window and type in "Sage".
   
5. The window displays a list of your installed Sage software
   
6. Click the ellipsis (three dots) icon next to the Sage 50 Accounts program you want to repair:
   
   Then click Modify.
7. Click the Repair option on the following screen:
   
   Then click OK to continue.
8. The repair will run. When it finishes, click Launch Sage 50 Accounts to open the program, or Close to exit
