Sage 200 includes Standard and Professional. Sage 200 will introduce a number of connected services through a regular release cadence.

With that in mind Sage 200 has three key themes:

Sage 200 has been built on direct customer feedback with customers telling us that simplifying their business processes is key whilst improving the user experience to become more productive on a daily basis is what really matters to them.

Highlights include:

  • GoCardless – Full launch, set up and collect direct debits from within Sage 200.
  • Microsoft 365 – Power Automate examples, allowing partners to tailor automation of customer business processes.
  • Microsoft 365 – Power Apps, ability to build custom business apps, integrating with Sage 200.
  • Purchase Requisition Improvements – Enhancements to the purchase requisition workflow.

GoCardless - Full Launch

What:

  • Schedule and collect payments by Direct Debit from within Sage 200.
  • Enhanced functionality introduced following the preview in previous Sage 200 releases.

Details:

  • Sage have partnered with GoCardless a leading digital Direct Debit provider.
  • End customers can be selected to take advantage of GoCardless via the Pay Now functionality.

  • Set up Direct Debit from both invoices and directly within product.
  • Remove the pain of late payment.
  • Improved Cash Flow.
  • Greater predictability of cash position.
Making Tax Digital

What:

In product ability allowing MTD compliance.

Details:

  • New system admin setting to enable MTD compliance.
  • Previous MTD compliant versions of Sage200cloud required BP/Sage assistance to activate.

Benefits:

  • Allow simpler on boarding for MTD.
Improved Audit Capability

What:

Ability to view key audit activities in the following product areas:

  • Changes to Supplier Bank Details.
  • Changes to purchase requisitions.

  • Search for a combined budget.
  • Restrict access to Authorise/Authorise & Generate Orders Options.

Warehouse on Free Text Items

What:

Ability to specify a warehouse for a free text item.

Details:

  • Non-stock holding customers often use warehouses to represent departments or locations within their business. This feature enables customers to use this information for purchases via free text items.

Benefits:

  • Ability to tie a warehouse to a non-stock related purchase.
  • Improves the ability for companies to use warehouses as for non-stock related processes.
