If this resolved the issue, you must speak with your local IT support to change your Windows access rights.
Manually register Microsoft Excel
- Close Sage 50 Accounts then press the Windows key + R.
- Enter:
- 32bit Excel - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Excel.exe" /regserver
- 64bit Excel - "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Excel.exe" /regserver
NOTE: If you’re using Excel 2013 change the 'Office16' to Office15.
- Then click OK.
If the issue persists after registering excel.exe, first uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Office. Then completely uninstall Sage 50 Accounts and reinstall it.
For further assistance reinstalling Microsoft Office, refer to your local IT administrator.
