Try opening Sage Accounts. If Sage Accounts opens successfully, to permanently set the shortcut to run as administrator:

Check your regional settings are set to UK
- Hold down the Windows key and press R then type intl.cpl and click OK.
- Click the Formats tab and set Format to English (United Kingdom) or English (Ireland).
- Click OK then click the Location tab and set Current location to United Kingdom then click OK.
- Restart your computer.
Try opening Sage Accounts. If the issue persists, please continue to the next section.
Reset your licence information
- Close Sage Accounts.
- Rename the folder C:\Program Data\Sage\SDK Licence to C:\ProgramData\Sage\SDK Licence OLD
- Browse to C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts and delete the sage.usr file.
- Open Sage Accounts and reenter your licence information.

Exclude the following URL from the proxy server
https://licensing.services.sage.com/lic/services/LicenceService
