Check for updates It's easy to install available updates from within your Sage 50 Accounts software: - On the menu bar go to Help, then click Check for updates.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
You can also choose to install the updates manually. To do this, follow the steps below.
Check your current version  CAUTION: Read this important message if you're using Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing.
- Open Sage 50 Accounts.
- On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
- In the Program Details section, check the version number.

 + R. - Enter appwiz.cpl then press Enter.
- Find the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts in the list.
- Check the Version column, for example, 30.1.343.0
Once you know the version number of your software, click the relevant version below to check if it's up to date. If not, you can download the update needed.
Manually install an update  NOTE: To upgrade to the latest version, use our Install your software hub.
Select the software version you wish to install: Version 31 The latest version is: 31.0.378.0 CAUTION: Read this important message before upgrading to v30 if you're using Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. - Log on to your computer as an administrator and close all software.

Download Sage 50 Accounts v31.0.378.0 64-bit > Download Sage 50 Accounts v31.0.378.0 32-bit > Click Save if prompted by your browser. - Locate and right-click Sage50Accounts_v31.0.378.0_64bit.exe or Sage50Accounts_v31.0.378.0_32bit.exe, then select Run as Administrator.
- Follow the instructions in the installer application.
- Once the installation is complete, open Sage 50 Accounts.
- On the menu bar go to Help, then select About.
- Under Program Details, check this now shows the latest version.

Version 30 The latest version is: 30.1.343.0 CAUTION: Read this important message before upgrading to v30 if you're using Sage Job Costing or Sage Manufacturing. In v30, we switched to a 64-bit application. This means there are two downloads and you must select the right one that matches your operating system type. - Log on to your computer as an administrator and close all software.
