To resolve issues related to the username you're using, you must delete the criteria files. Sometimes you need to stop using your current username and create a new one.
Issues can include the application closing, crashing, or becoming unresponsive.

If you delete these files, any sorts, searches, or filters in the relevant module reset. To retain this information for unaffected areas, delete the files for the area where the issue is occurring only.
Access the computer that holds your data. If you aren't sure, check our where is my data kept? article.
Close then re-open Sage 50 Accounts, then in the Company Selection window, select the required company.
Press the three dots to the left of the company name , then press Folder location. In Sage 50 50 Accounts v26.3 - in the Select Company window, press Open Folder Location.
Make a note of this folder location as you'll need it later.
Close Sage 50 Accounts but keep the window open with your folders on.
USERNAME represents the username that you're having a problem with. For example, if the username is David, a file will say David.SLC. If you don't have a username, the file is manager.xxx.

Browse to and double-click the CRITERIA folder.
Delete any files that relate to the username with the issue.
TIP:
The criteria folder is in the same location as your ACCDATA folder.
