Locate your Sage data- On the computer that can already access the company data, open Sage Accounts and on the menu bar click Help then click About.
- In the Program details area make a note of the Version Number and Data Directory.

Read more > NOTE: To avoid issues with Windows permissions, log on to the computer as an administrator. Once you've shared the data, you can browse to it from other computers. NOTE: To help you find the shared folder from other computers, make a note of the computer name:- Hold down the Windows key + R, enter control /name microsoft.system then click OK and make a note of the Computer name.

- Select Use an existing company stored on your network then click Browse.
- Enter or browse to the location of the shared folder then select the ACCDATA folder and click OK then Next.
- Confirm the details of the company you're connecting to then click Connect or Convert.
You can now open your company in Sage Accounts from this computer. Add a new company to existing installation- Log into an existing company on Sage Accounts with the username manager, if required, enter the password then click File then New then Company.
- Select Use an existing company stored on your network then click Browse.
- Enter or browse to the location of the shared folder then select the ACCDATA folder and click OK then Next.
- Confirm the details of the company you're connecting to then click Connect or Convert.
You can now open your company in Sage Accounts from this computer. Change the location of an existing company- Browse to the Company file:

- Double-click the Company file, then click Notepad, then click OK.
- Change the path in the Company file to the new data location. If the Company file contains more than one path, only change the path you noted in the first step.
The data path should never contain ACCDATA, it should always be up to the folder which contains the ACCDATA folder.
- On the menu bar, click File then Save, then click File then Exit.
