The deadline set by HMRC for you to submit your P11D and P11D(b) forms is 6 July 2025.

Submission errors

There are two types of error that may be returned by the Government Gateway:

  • Errors which relate to the submission process and why it may have failed
  • Errors which relate to the actual data contained in the submission and why it may have failed

Can I submit P11Ds where values are zero?

It's not possible to submit zero value P11D forms using your software. If you try to submit a P11D with no values, an error appears.

Can I resend an incorrect submission?

HMRC only accept one submission from a PAYE reference. This means if you submit a P11D that's incorrect, you can't re submit it using your software.
