422-117-11

We can't authorise your client because HMRC revoked the token or the client is no longer enrolled in MTD. 

Reconnect your MTD authorisation and confirm that HMRC has enrolled your client. 
422-117-12

HMRC returned a server error (500).

Wait a few minutes, then submit your Income Tax quarterly update again.

422-117-14

HMRC accepted your submission, but we can't return the tax calculation.

Your submission is successful. We're working with HMRC to restore the tax calculation view.

422-117-42

HMRC already holds a submission with either a later date or a submission made through another provider or channel.

Submit your Income Tax quarterly update again using the current date.

422-117-43

The obligation dates from HMRC aren't correct.

There's a known issue where the quarterly update dates HMRC holds don't match your standard or quarterly update period type. You'll need to check your update settings and submit again.

NOTE:

HMRC isn't applying penalties for late updates this tax year while they fix this issue.

422-117-48 The software contains a bug. This is a bug we have now resolved, and you can submit your Income Tax quarterly update again.
422-117-49 HMRC has a bug with the income source. Wait a week from the date of the error, then submit your Income Tax quarterly update again.
