How to access and use the Demonstration data in Sage 50 Accounts.
Description
Sage 50 Accounts has two extra companies for you to try out features and practice tasks without affecting your live data. You can save and reopen your practice work, or delete it and start again.
The Demonstration Data gives you a sample company with records and transactions you can use. Like Practice data, it’s separate from your live accounts, so anything you post here won’t affect your live data.
NOTE:
You can't back up and restore data from the Demonstration data to your company data.
Resolution
Open Demonstration Data
- Open Sage and select Demonstration data on the Company Selection window. If you're in a company, go to File, then Open, then Open Demonstration Data.
The software opens the company named Stationery & Computer Mart UK.
Navigation
To move between your company data and Demonstration data, go to File, then Open, and choose the required option.
