HR timesheet values have changed

Summary

Dealing with updates to approved HR timeesheet figures when completing your pay run, using timesheet integration in Sage Payroll.

Description

When processing your pay run, the final step is to click on the Complete pay run button. At this point, Sage Payroll does one final check to see if there has been any update to the HR approved timesheet. If there is, you will get a prompt, asking how you'd like to deal with the changes.

 NOTE: Pay runs that have already been processed, will not be affected by any changes in HR for the same period. 

Resolution

You will see which employees are affected and given 2 options on how to proceed.

The option you choose depends on how you want the figures to be processed.

Include changes in this pay run

Choose this if you want the new figures to be processed in this period. You will be taken back to the PAY window. 

 NOTE: You will not see the difference between the new and the old figures. Only the new revised figure will show.  

Do not include changes in this pay run

The new figures will not show in Payroll. There will be a discrepancy between Payroll and HR. You can enter the additional information in a future pay run if required.
