How to resolve this error message when opening Sage 50 Accounts v30.1 or above.

Description

When you open Sage 50 Accounts, you see the following error:

The error can present itself despite logging in with an authorised email address, or the one referenced in the error message which is not the expected behaviour.

Resolution

Sign in with another Sage account
  1. Click OK.
  2. Sign in with a different email address which also has Remote Data Access to the associated company.

If you are the only user
  1. Click Work without connected services.
  2. Once logged into Sage 50 Accounts, disconnect your Sage account.
  3. After disconnecting, you can reconnect any services you need to use, like Remote Data Access.
