Home page

The latest update introduces a new Home page. This is a great way for you to find handy information on the features of your software, access support videos, webinars and more to ensure you're always up to date.

In v30 the Home page opens by default when you log in to a Company. You can easily change view to: the process map or, if you prefer, you can still set the Employee List to be your default view.

Find out more about the home page in Sage 50 Payroll.

P45 values

When you enter a new employee's P45 values, you must only enter values from the tax year you're processing.

From the new version, the P45 year to date fields aren't available when you shouldn't enter them. This occurs if the Date left previous employment from the P45 isn't in the same tax year as your Process Date in Sage 50 Payroll.

Find out more in our how do I enter a P45 for a new starter guide.

Pensions Data Exchange (PDX) error improvements

We've added clickable links within the most common errors in PDX. These links take you straight to the relevant support guide for these errors, helping you get back underway quicker.
