When you first log in to Sage 50 Payroll v30, the Home view appears by default. For example:

This is a great way for you to find handy information on the features of your software, access support videos, webinars and more to ensure you're always up to date.

To access your normal options including your employee list, click Payroll in the Navigation bar. 

You can access the Home page at any time, by clicking Home in the Navigation bar in the bottom left of your software.

Show or hide the Process Map

The Process Map provides a view of the full payroll process, displayed beneath your employee list. If you'd prefer to hide this, change the view to Employee List.

1. Click Payroll in the Navigation bar, then click View from the Menu bar.
2. Click Change View then select one of the following:
   • Employee List
   • Process Map
   • Dashboard

Change initial view

If you prefer to see the employee list when you first open your software, you can change the default initial view to Payroll. 

1. In the bottom left of your software, click Desktop.
2. In the Tasks pane, click Options, then click the Environment tab.
3. Under the Desktop heading, use the Initial View drop-down and select your preference.
4. Click OK.

Next time you open your software, your initial view of choice appears.
