How to resolve the error message - 'This page can’t be displayed' when submitting your VAT return in Sage 50 Accounts.

Description

This is caused by v28.0 and below using Internet Explorer dependencies which are no longer supported by Microsoft.

Resolution

If you're using Windows 7,8 and 8.1 you need to upgrade your Sage 50 Accounts software to v28.1 or above.

Download and install Sage 50 Accounts v29.2 

Download and install Sage 50 Accounts v28.1

 CAUTION: Microsoft support for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8 and 8.1, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 have ended. We therefore recommend installing Sage on a Microsoft-supported operating system. 


If you're using Windows 10, installing Windows updates allows you to continue to use 28.0 or below.

 TIP: We recommend that you always upgrade to the latest version.
