How to update your email address in Sage Accounting, Payroll, HR, and Client Management.

Resolution

Change your email address

  1. From your profile drop-down menu, select Manage account.
  2. Select Manage profile settings, then select Continue to sign in (new tab).
  3. Log in to Sage's account management area and select Email address.
  4. Enter the current business owner email address and password and select Log in.
  5. Enter and confirm your new email address and select Continue. We'll send a verification code to your new email address.
  6. Enter the verification code and select Continue.
  7. Log in again using your new email address and password. 
    You'll see a success message display to confirm the change.

  NOTE: You can't use an email address registered as a user on another Sage product.


Didn't receive the verification email

"Didn't get a code? Resend the code" link to get a new code.

If you still haven't received the email, it could be because:

  • Emails can take up to 20 minutes to arrive
  • You received it but it automatically moved to your deleted items, spam, or junk folder
  • You've used the wrong email address or made a typo

 NOTE: If you can't access the registered business owner email address, contact support.
