Are you moving your employee data from Sage 50 Payroll?

You can manually enter this before running your first payroll. This article covers where to find the employee information you need.

Where to find your additional employee information in Sage 50 Payroll

After importing an FPS file, check and update the following applicable information.

If you have migrated from Sage 50, you can find the information in the following places:

Pay days

From the Employee list, select your employee then select the Employment tab.

How often you pay your employee lists under Payment Frequency.

Opening balances

From the employee record, select Employment then YTD Values. The relevant figures are available in the Tax and NIC tabs.

Previous employment values

From the employee record, select Employment then YTD Values. The relevant figures are available in the Tax tab.

Statutory pay recovery and compensation values

From the employee record, select Employment then YTD Values.

Select Statutory Payments then the type of payment you want to see.

Select the + for the Total Amount Paid / Amount Reclaimed then Print.

Employment Allowance values

From Company, select Settings then the HRMC Payments tab. The Employment Allowance is in the Payments of Tax/NICs table.

Working patterns

From the Reports select Employee then Holiday Working Days Pattern.

Student loan deductions

From the employee record, select the Employment tab, then YTD Values.

From the Other YTD tab, select the + next to Student Loan, then Print.

Employer pensions

From Company, select Pension Schemes then Edit.

Pension plan

From the employee record, select the Pensions tab, then Manage Schemes.

To see the pension plan details, select Edit.
