Description
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is a public body set up by the government to regulate workplace pensions. They write to all employers to let you know when your duties start date.

Resolution
Before entering your duties start date
- Even if postponing automatic enrolment, you still enter the duties start date given to you by TPR.
- You can only amend the duties start date if you haven't processed any pay runs for that period.

For cyclical re-enrolment, there is no need to change your duties start date.
To enter your duties start date:
- Select the Summary tab.
- In the Auto Enrolment / Pensions section on the right, select Setup pensions.
- Enter the duties start date you received from TPR.
- Select Set duties start date.
