Create a product category

Use categories and sub-categories to group similar products together. This helps to find product and service records more easily and helps with analysis and reporting.

1. Select Products and services.
2. Select the New Item dropdown, then Manage Categories.
3. Enter the category name.
4. To create a sub-category, tick the Make a Sub-Category checkbox and select the parent category it falls under.
   Report on sub-categories individually or rolled up into a parent category.
5. Select Save.

You can now assign the product categories to your product and service records.
