Unallocate a purchase quick entry

Created on  | Last modified on

Summary

How to find out if you've paid a purchase quick entry and unallocate it in Sage Accounting.

Description

If you've paid a quick entry, you must unallocate it from the payment first. If you've included the quick entry on a VAT Return, you must reverse it instead.

Resolution

Find out if a quick entry is paid

Check the Supplier Activity to see if you've paid the invoice or credit note.

  1. From Contacts, select Suppliers.
  2. Open the relevant supplier.
  3. From the Activity list, check the value in the Outstanding column. If it's 0.00, you've paid / allocated the quick entry.

TIP:

Use the Type at the top of the list to show Purchase QE Invoice or Purchase QE Credit only.
