Important information - Sage 50 Manufacturing

We wrote to you last to year in relation to our decision to withdraw support for Sage 50 Manufacturing software from 1 October 2021. Please note, if you no longer use the software, you can disregard this message.

In all of our messages to date, we outlined that with effect from October 2020 we would no longer test the integration of the Sage 50 Manufacturing software with any new releases of Sage 50 Accounts.

As you have the software registered, we wanted to let you know that we've identified an issue with Sage 50 Manufacturing when Sage 50 Accounts v28 is installed.

The issue results in an inability to print any reports or layouts with an error message displayed as follows: “The report could not be generated. Could not load file or assembly”. Unfortunately, we have been unable to identify a suitable workaround. As Sage 50 Manufacturing is now retired from our product range, we are not able to resolve this issue.

Whilst we always recommend updating to the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts, at this time we strongly urge you not to upgrade to any version higher than 27.2 if you are still using your Manufacturing software.

If you are currently running Sage 50 Accounts v26 or below and wish to upgrade to v27, please visit our installation help article which explains what you need to do.
