How to install download and Sage 50 Accounts v27 for the first time, or install it on a new computer

Description

NOTE: Sage 50 Accounts v27 isn't the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts. To upgrade to the latest version, visit sage.co.uk/install.

Once you're ready to install Sage 50 Accounts, follow these steps to install the software. To install Sage 50 Accounts on more than one computer, follow the same process.

Before you install

Check your system requirements and access:

Each computer meets our system requirements
You've installed all the latest updates for Windows
You can log on to each computer as an administrator
Check the port access on each computer
Find your Sage serial number, activation key and account number

Download and install Sage 50 Accounts

Close all software, then click the link below:
- Download Sage 50 Accounts
This will download automatically to your downloads folder, or click Save.
To begin the installation, locate and double-click Sage50Accounts_27.2.exe
To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
If prompted, click Yes to allow this app to make changes to your device.
Select the I accept the terms of the Licence Agreement check box and click Next.
Click the Standard (recommended) installation type and click Yes, begin installation.
Once complete, the software checks for any updates. If prompted, click Install then click Yes, begin installation.
If prompted to restart your computer, ensure you have any work saved, then click Restart now.
If not prompted to restart, to complete the install, click Close, then click Close.

Install on each computer using Sage 50 Accounts.

Add company data

You have four options to add a company.

Once you have set up your company for Remote Data Access. You can then Connect remotely from another machine.

Final checks

In Sage 50 Accounts, click Help, then About, and check that your version number is v27.2.664.0.
