How to clear the contents of the collaborate and connected bridge folders to fix specific issues when using Sage 50 Accounts.
Resolution
Stop the services and clear collaborate
- Log all users out of Sage.
- Select the Windows Key + R buttons, enter Services.msc.
- Right-click the Services app then press Run as administrator.
- Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Service vxx and select Stop.
- Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Control vxx and select Stop.
- Browse to C:\Windows\Syswow64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Sage\SSB\ Accounts\Collaborate.
- Select the contents of the folder and choose Delete.
Clear the connected bridge and start the services
- Browse to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Sage\SSB\Accounts\ConnectedBridge.
- Select the contents of the folder and choose Delete.
- Select the Windows Key + R buttons, enter Services.msc.
- Right-click the Services app then press Run as administrator.
- Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Service vxx and choose Start.
- Right-click Sage 50 Accounts Control vxx and choose Start.
