Archive company licences can be used for the following purposes:

  • To support migration from another product, including supporting migration so all data sits within a single product.
  • To create a test company for specific purposes such as training, development via a 3rd party or to assist with a technical support call via a business partner. It's essential customers set this access up in line with considering their security policies. The following article may also provide guidance.
  • To support the need to restart your record keeping but retaining previous records, for example moving to the Better Financial Reporting scheme, company name change.
  • Audit / Historical Data purposes.
  • Archive companies are billed monthly irrespective of the subscription plan. This is in part due to the reasons that an Archive company may be used - i.e. it could be temporary and means it is a true pay as you go feature.
