We've collated some common questions you may have around our decision to stop selling Sage stationery from 31 December 2020. If you want to continue using paper stationery please don't worry, the only change is that Sage no longer sell these items. However there are many other suppliers that sell Sage compatible stationery.

Why have we made this decision?

We are focusing on enhancing the digital features you already have available in your software, while investing in developing and introducing new features that make running your business even easier.

As part of our drive to invest in the right areas and improve our core cloud-based software,  we have taken the decision to stop selling stationery directly to customers.  


Can I still use stationery with my Sage software?

Yes, Sage is not the only provider of stationery, there are many other suppliers who can provide you with stationery that is compatible with your Sage software.  

Sage do not have any recommended suppliers for standard stationery, but suppliers can easily be sourced through popular browser search engines.


Can I order P60s from Sage now?

No, to keep in line with the HMRC decision to no longer print P60 stationery, we also do not sell P60 stationery for the 2020/2021 tax year. 

You can source an alternative supplier for your P60 stationery – or in Sage 50 Payroll, Sage Payroll (Ireland), Sage Instant Payroll v19 and above and Sage Business Cloud Payroll you can produce them within your software and provide them to your employees digitally.

Can I buy Stationery from Sage after 31 December?

No, however there are many other suppliers who can provide you with stationery that is compatible with your Sage software.  


If I choose not to use paper stationery what can I do?

Providing documents digitally to customers, suppliers and employees can have many benefits, including saving time and reducing your carbon footprint.

If you use Sage 50 Payroll, Sage 50 Accounts or Sage Business Cloud you can produce digital alternatives to paper stationery, such as Payslips, P60’s, Invoices, Statements & Orders.
