How to check if your bank is compatible with Bank feeds in Sage 50 Accounts.
Before you start
Connect your company data to your Sage account. The manager or an administrator is the user to connect your Sage account.
Check your bank
To get started, choose your version of Sage 50 Accounts and follow the steps.
▼ Sage 50 Accounts v29.2 and above
- In Sage 50 Accounts as MANAGER, then go to Bank feeds on the left menu.
- Select the Sage bank account to connect to bank feeds, then select Connect bank.
If not yet connected, a Sage account message appears for you to get started, then click Continue.
- On the Connect your bank window, select the correct country.
- Select your bank from the list of popular banks. You can also enter the name of your bank in the Find your bank search field.
If your bank doesn't appear, it's not currently available to use with Bank feeds.

- After finding your bank, select Continue and log in via your Online Banking. Check if your account type supports Bank feeds.
▼ Sage 50 Accounts v29.0 and below
NOTE: Barclays Corporate bank accounts aren't currently compatible with Bank feeds in Sage 50 Accounts. - In Sage 50 Accounts, go to Bank accounts then select Bank feeds.
- If not yet connected, a Sage account message appears for you to get started, then select Continue.
Sage 50 Accounts v26 - If not yet connected, enter your email address then select Get Started.
- Choose your country on the Bank Feeds window.
- Select you bank from the list of popular banks or select Other banks and search.
If your bank doesn't appear, it's not currently available to use with Bank feeds.

- After finding your bank, select your bank, then Next, then check the Account type drop-down. Check if your account type supports Bank feeds.
