This guide explains how to check if your bank is compatible with Bank feeds in Sage 50 Accounts.
Description
You can quickly check if your bank is available to connect to the Bank feeds service in just a few simple steps. If you haven't already connected your company data to your Sage account, we recommend these steps are done by the manager user or an administrator.
Resolution
To get started, choose the appropriate version of Sage 50 Accounts to see the steps
Sage 50 Accounts v29.2 and above
- In Sage 50 Accounts, click Bank feeds.
- Locate the bank account you want to connect to bank feeds in the list, and click Connect bank.
If not yet connected, a Sage account (formerly Sage ID) message appears, click Continue. Read more > - On the Connect your bank screen, ensure the right country is selected.
You can now use the Find your bank search box to enter the name of your bank, or check the list of popular banks in the Or choose from these banks list. If your bank doesn't appear, it's not currently available to use with Bank feeds. - Once you find your bank, to check if your account type is supported, select the bank, click Continue and you should then be able to log in via your Online Banking.
Sage 50 Accounts v29.0 and below
NOTE: Barclays Corporate bank accounts are not currently compatible with Bank feeds in Sage 50 Accounts. Read more >
- In Sage 50 Accounts, click Bank accounts then click Bank feeds.
- If not yet connected, a Sage account (formerly Sage ID) message appears, click Continue. Read more >
Sage 50 Accounts v26 - If not yet connected, enter your email address then click Get Started. - On the Bank Feeds window, choose your country.
If your bank is available to use with Bank feeds it appears either under Popular Banks, or you can locate it by selecting Other Banks and searching. If your bank doesn't appear, it's not currently available to use with Bank feeds. - Once you find your bank, to check if your account type is supported, select the bank, click Next then check the Account type drop-down.
