Historical leavers' data appears in Pensions Data Exchange (PDX)

How to check and resolve historical leavers' data appearing when you Send Pension Data using PDX in Sage 50 Payroll.

Description

When you run Send Pension Data, previous periods for historical leavers sometimes appears. If you're certain that your pension provider has that data, you can clear it.

 NOTE: If this issue occurs for current employees, follow the historical periods appear in PDX article.  

Resolution

This can occur due to employees who left in a previous tax year, reappearing on the list. To resolve this, note the employee causing the issue and remove the pension scheme from their record:

  1. Select the Criteria button above your employee list.
  2. In the Exclude Employees who are section, clear the Historical Leavers check box and select OK.
  3. Open the employee's record and click the Pensions tab.
  4. Click Manage Schemes, then highlight the employee's pension scheme and click Delete. Repeat this with any other pension schemes assigned to the employee.

This employee won't appear when you run Send Pension Data.
