Historical periods appear in Pensions Data Exchange (PDX)
Description

When you use the send pension data option, previously sent pension data sometimes appear.

To resolve this, mark the files as sent.

 NOTE: If the issue occurs for leavers, follow the historical leavers' data appears in PDX article.

Mark the files as sent

  1. Take a backup of your data that includes pension data files. Find out more in the files to include in your backup article.
  2. Select Payroll then Change Process Date.
  3. Set the process date to the date of your last successful submission then select OK.
  4. Go to Send Pension Data then select the required employees.
    • To help you find the relevant employees, you can filter the list by columns. For example, by tax period, payment frequency or event
  5. If applicable, select the Group name and Payment source.
    • If you're marking a historical opt-out request, you can enter any text in the opt-out reference
  6. Once you've selected all historical entries, select Mark as sent.
    • A confirmation message appears. Review the contents of the message and only proceed if you're sure that only the correct historical entries are included
  7. Select Yes to continue.
  8. Select Yes and take another backup of your data.
  9. When your software completes the backup, the period moves to the History tab.
