Back up your data

1. Click File, then click Backup.
2. To check your data, click Yes and click OK, then click Close and click Close again.
3. Click Browse and browse to where you want to save your backup, then click OK.
4. Click Advanced options and select the type of files you want to back up then click OK, then click OK again.

Update the computer that holds your data

NOTE: If your data is held on a computer that doesn't have a full Sage Accounts installation, you must download and install the Sage 50 Accounts v26 - Data Service on that computer instead.

1. To download Sage 50 Accounts v26, click the link below:

2. Enter your My Sage login details, click Sign In, then click Download.
3. If prompted to save the file, note the file name, then click Save.
   
   Depending on your web browser, the file may automatically save to your Downloads folder. To view your Downloads folder, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard.
