How to change the password for Manager in Sage 50 Accounts.

Description

To keep your Sage 50 Accounts data secure, you need to enter a password for the manager user name, and only make this available to authorised personnel. You're prompted to set up a password when opening Sage 50 Accounts and you can change it at any time from within the software.

Resolution

Change the password

  1. Log into Sage Accounts using the MANAGER user name.
  2. Go to Settings, then User Management then select Change Your Password.
  3. Enter your current password then select Log on.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.
  5. For the Security question, enter a question, for example, What is my favourite colour?
  6. For Security answer, enter the answer to the question, for example, green.
  7. Click OK.
