There are some great features to help you with your day to day accounts once you have activated your integration between Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft 365 -

What do I need?

Compatible Microsoft 365 licence

To enjoy these integration features you must have Sage 50 Accounts and a compatible Microsoft 365 subscription.

NOTE: If you're interested in upgrading to Sage 50 Accounts, and/or getting a Microsoft 365 subscription if you do not already have one, contact our sales team on 0191 479 5955, select option 3 for Sales  (UK) or 014 470 806 (ROI), or if you'd like us to call you backleave your details and we'll be in touch.

Connect Microsoft 365 licence to your Sage account

If you have an existing compatible Microsoft 365 subscription you need to connect your existing Microsoft 365 licence to your Sage account where we'll then email you a user agreement that allows Sage 50 Accounts apps and add-ins access to Microsoft 365.


Once you have both Sage 50 Accounts installed and a compatible Microsoft 365 subscription follow the steps below on how to activate your Microsoft 365 account.

How to activate Microsoft 365



NOTE: If you're using Remote Data Access with Sage 50 Accounts v27 or below, these steps must be done at your main site.

  1. Open the Get started with Microsoft 365 services email you received.

     TIP: If you cannot find this email you can contact us to get it re-sent - You can submit this as a query to us online.

  2. To activate your Microsoft 365 account, click Get Started.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts until you reach the step Connect Sage 50 Accounts with Microsoft 365.
  4. Click the I'll sync Sage 50 Accounts data later check box, then click Finish.

Next steps

If you haven't already, you should set up Sage 50 Accounts.

You can then upload your accounts data to Microsoft 365.
